Become Successful in Everything You Do

Imagine what it would be like if every time you wanted something in your life you knew that you would get it?

Imagine experiencing becoming very successful in everything you do?

How would that impact on your life?

You’re ready for success, aren’t you?

Here’s a secret>>>>>>>>>

Napoleon Hill is the father of achievement as far as I and countless others are concerned and as a direct result of his timeless work “Think and Grow Rich” millionaires have been created.  To follow in his footsteps is truly following in the footsteps of giants.

He wrote in that book “Desire is the starting point of all achievement…. The first step towards all riches.” But, it wasn’t just ordinary desire he spoke about for Napoleon Hill based his timeless classic on what he discovered after interviewing 500 of the top industrialists at the time. He found that he could only describe their ‘Desire’ as Consuming – Burning – Dominating Obsession. Can you describe your present goals with such words as these?

Look back in your life and select a moment when you fell totally in love. Perhaps that person has become your life partner. Remember the feelings about that person that filled your mind and body. Would you say those feeling were Consuming – Burning – Dominating Obsession?

Perhaps you have other occasions which have been reflected with the same feelings, just recall how you felt and hold it in your mind.

Pay close attention….

Desire is so powerful that people will risk their life, freedom, fortune and everything else in order to satisfy it.

I well remember the burning and dominating obsession I felt when I set a goal of qualifying for a company convention to the Disney Resort Hotels in Boca Raton in Florida. I played the company video of that destination over and over until every image was burned deep inside of me.

I knew every inch of the Cloisters; The Tower and The Beach Club long before it was time to go. I decided that The Beach Club was where I would spend the convention days. Notice I said – “I DECIDED The Beach Club WAS where I WOULD spend”. Not I would like.

I planned how many sales I had to make in order to qualify, the Beach Club demanded 50% higher qualification than the other two hotels on the site. Disregarding the commission and concentrating on the qualifying points each case was awarded. I never earned more in my life than during those two years and when finally I entered the Beach Club at the resort I realised I was there because of Napoleon Hill’s Burning Desire.

Can you imagine how much more effective you will be when your desire for your goal is as strong as mine was?

Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich also said:- “What a different story men would have to tell if only they would adopt a definite purpose, and stand by that purpose until it had time to become an all-consuming obsession!.”

Time For Action:

Why do you think a car salesman will encourage you to take a test drive in the car you are considering buying. It is to inflame your desire as you can see yourself owning the vehicle, feeling the pride you will have as your neighbours admire the new car outside of your door. There’s nothing quite like your new car when it is delivered or you drive it home, do you leave it on your drive or put it straight into your garage?
Inflame your desire to reach a goal in your life. If it is a new home, buy magazines that feature new homes, visit them on open days. When you find the type you want get a picture of the inside and outside, from a magazine or take one yourself. Pin the pictures where you see them everyday, so that you know the images with your eyes shut. See your self living in the house, what colour are the curtains, carpets, walls, what type of furniture. Live the experience in your mind every day.

Try this exercise with every goal you want to reach in your life, and write down the feelings you have as you do it.

The more you do it the more your desire will grow to be – Consuming -  Burning – Obsessive and reachable.
