Goal Setting in 24 Hours

Sunday, January 17th, 2010

Here we are mid way through January and I wonder how many of your New Year resolutions made with such conviction are still active, or have they faded by the wayside because of the day-to-day fires you have fought since the festive season came to a close.

To be fully committed to Goal Setting is a vital necessity for personal development and self-improvement. We pay such lip service to it and possibly even get around to thinking about what you want to achieve in your life during 2010 and beyond, but then like most years you get to the end of January and have forgotten what it was you were going to work toward

If only there were a way that you could set goals and stay motivated as time goes by to achieve them in the time frame you intended, how much better life would be.

You possibly know how good a feeling you get when you set out to achieve something and you are successful, that warm glow inside as you look back and feel proud of your accomplishment. Suppose you goal for 2010 was a new car, just feel the pleasure of opening the door for the first time and sliding onto the plush drivers seat. Turning the ignition key and feeling the power as the horsepower bursts into action in a low growl.

Tell me if your goal is a new car, when you take it home for the first time do you put it in the garage or leave it on your drive so the neighbours can see it?

A new book will lead you step by step through a great system of setting goals, it is called Goal Setting in 24 Hours, it is not written purely for new people to goal setting it is aimed at anyone who earnestly wants to achieve more in their lives both in business and social environments.

Here is the great thing it comes to you in immediate download form FREE OF CHARGE , the author David Dutch simply wants to help as many people as possible to achieve their life goals and has put a great deal of his personal development seminars into the work.

Make Every Second Count

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Do you look forward and hope that your tomorrow will be better than today, even though you try to fill your days thinking positively. Are you waiting for the time when you goals are reached and you can escape the rat race?

Well perhaps this could shock one or two of you reading this article when I tell you to stop living for the future.

Let me ask you a couple of questions:

1} Can you change what has happened in your past?
2} Can you do something beyond positive thinking now that will make change life and make tomorrow better?

No matter how many positive thoughts you cram inside your head you cannot change yesterday or the day before, forget them they are history what you can do is create a mind set to make your future better.

Now that we have established that, have you realized that you can only live for this fleeting momentIt is all you have control over, and as soon a one second passes it is gone for good you will never ever get it back. It is vital that you prepare to do something in the next second of your life that will have a positive bearing on the next second and the next and the next and the one after that.

You have got no time for negativity.

Yes you should plan today to make tomorrow better, but not at the expense of enjoying today, this is YOUR LIFE.

Life is short, so why should you not enjoy life for every second that you live, no matter what negativity is going on around you, wars, famine, the economy are outside of your direct control so why let them prevent you from carrying out actions that will improve your future and help you enjoy life at this precise moment.

People are usually depressed and unhappy when they are doing or thinking about negative things, fill your life with positive thoughts and actions and you underwrite your future and create happiness all around while you are doing so you uplift the lives of those around you.

The only way you can do this is to set smart goals and realize that the present moment is all that you will ever experience. Both your past and your future are abstracts of your mind. In your life there is only this second in existence, the one you took to read these words have gone forever (oops! Sorry there goes another one.) You can change your life but only if you take action right now at this moment in time. If you cannot be happy now and enjoy life, when can you be happy?

Too many people allow seconds to slip by as if they were unimportant, the next second could be the most important second of your life. Ask your self what is a dying person’s most precious second?

Take this second to look around you, relax in the quietness of your mind, going beyond positive thinking and goal setting, become aware of the world that surrounds you, by relaxing, your mind will enter into a contemplative mood and will replace the anxiety you get from focussing on your past or your future. You will gradually become aware of the NOW, the eternal now that you exist in, the vital seconds that are taking place as you relax. You will begin to feel the power that is available to you this very second and how it can be used to make tomorrow a brighter place where you will attain your new life and goals without stress or any forcing.

Live life by the second that is your NOW
