Personal Growth by Looking in Your Mirror

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

All around the world there are men and women striving for self improvement without considering the obstacles they face. They have learned to use positive thinking and mind power as they strive for personal growth. They are totally single-minded in their pursuit of being the most acclaimed in their organisation.

When you strive against other people, you will be in what Bill Gates would express as a coach ride that has no way of stopping, no way of steering, and no way of realizing if someone is behind or beside you along the way. It’s a pretty hazardous and serious business. Visualize it, going full speed regardless of what you may potentially strike and you are asking for trouble.

It is an old fashioned argument that you should look at others who are more skillful to measure how far you have self -improvement has developed. You do not need to measure yourself against others for if you did it could mean that because they use positive thinking and you ar not skilled in that you are an underachiever, this is not the case.

No doubt you have found yourself in a position where despite your greatest efforts others appear to get all the credit. You may have even found yourself stooping to the level of bad mouthing them as lucky so and so’s. That is totally negative and will never aid your self improvement. You could find yourself concentrating so much on trying to catch out your co-workers that you neglect what you should be doing and fail to hit your set goals……….. Follow ME to find out How You Can Increase Your Self Improvement by using you Mind Power to create Positive Thinking and Personal Growth

Thoughts About Life Quality

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Ask one hundred people to define quality of life, and you’re liable to get one hundred different answers. Part of the variation in expressing quality of life surely is that people place emphasis on different things. Some people believe that close interpersonal relationships are most essential. Some people consider professional achievement to be exceptionally important. There are equally experiences within an entire culture that are often thought to represent a high quality of life: stimulating experiences, satisfying social relationships, being of good health, etc.

A different way to consider the notion of quality of life is whether or not ego satisfaction exists. The individual who seems to have the things they personally believe are significant may feel contented. The person lacking things they believe are important may see their lives as inadequate. This raises the question of whether pursuing ego desires is a worthwhile endeavor. For the most part, within Western cultures the achievement of ego desires is held in high regard. Within Western societies, the individual with a good track record of achieving ego desires often is celebrated; while those who typically fail in their ego pursuits may be considered failures.

The idea though that a person should pursue ego desires is not universally accepted. Some belief systems in fact consider the ego to be almost clueless as to what in life is genuinely beneficial and worthwhile. Ho oponopono is a process that considers the ego to be nearly entirely inept at understanding and interpreting life meaning. Within ho’oponopono then there is a strong emphasis on refusing to be led by the ego, and on making an effort to let go of desires. Those who practice the ho’oponopono method are typically of the mind that the only way to genuine contentment is through connection to a higher understanding.

Though ho’oponopono may sound rather complex, it’s actually a quite simple process. It’s a near certainty that anyone with the desire to can engage the ho’oponopono method. As things stand today awareness of ho’oponopono is spreading remarkably quickly, and more and more people are making practice of the method a regular part of their lives. The Law of Attraction

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Do you doubt the existence of the law of attraction? Perhaps you have tentaively tried, usually in solitude in case anyone saw you, goal setting, visualization or some other way of attracting wealth without success.

So just what is the truth?

After all wherever you turn on the Internet you find disciples of the law of attraction, visualization and goal setting proclaim their wealth, beyond reason in some cases, has been founded by using these techniques. Perhaps the teachings found in a law of attraction book or film have inspired them to bring change to their lives.

You may have heard of the film, ‘The Secret’ even watched it but still dismiss the law of attraction as Mumbo Jumbo.

Or is there really a force in nature that will allow you to use your secret mind to succeed where you have never succeeded before simply by harnessing the power of visuailzation and using affirmations?

Let’s look around nature and see what natural laws exist. Well there is the main one that keeps us all on this small planet of ours; you know the one that has always been there but was best explained by Sir Isaac Newton and his famous apple.

It does not matter whether or not an apple actually fell on his head the law of gravity has always been there and hopefully it always will be here, as I have no fancy for drifting off into space without a spaceship.

Here is a philosophical question for you, ‘What have you to do with how and when the law of gravity effects your life?’

That is one question you do not need to be Einstein to answer – NOTHING? You just accept that it is there because you can see evidence of its power every day and in every part of your life without conscious creation or affirmations.

There is the law of life, in that all life comes from another life. There is no living thing on this planet that does not owe its existence to the law of procreaton?

The law of Chemistry exists because life requires a specific chemistry operating in a certain way, DNA, to power our bodies. The law of Physics describes the universe at its most fundamental level and how planets move in relation to their orbit around their sun. The laws of Mathematics, is not a human invention but has existed in everything since the beginning of time. The law of Logic is the law that all other laws are dependent on. You cannot have a front without a back, you cannot have an up without a down. Without the laws of logic reasoning would be impossible.

All laws depend on each other for their function, but all function without the intervention of a human being. It is the same with your physical make up, you breathe without thinking about it and your blood is pumped around your body taking life giving oxygen to vital organs without your interference.

There is no difference with the law of attraction. If you commit 100% to manifesting abundance, and using visualization and affirmations and accept that you have already achieved your goal the law of attraction will open your mind to opportunities that you have not previously considered and could result in wealth beyond reason.

Because your mind is focused you will hear words from people you meet that you would have missed before because you are now listening to; not just hearing the words. Which is why we only hear what we understand we all interpret what we hear from our own experience.

All of the natural laws operate without conscious creation; resistance or input by you so the law of attraction will work if you accept it instead of resisting and denying it as too simple.

Is the law of gravity simple? Is the law of Chemistry simple? Is the law of physics simple? Is the law of mathematics simple? Is the law of logic simple? In as much as they are there despite you. You may not understand them but you accept them because of the evidence you have every day of their workings.

Look around at every successful person, every goal achiever they are living evidence of the law of attraction working in their lives.

The day you stop questioning the validity of the law of attraction is the day you will allow it to work in your life.

Stop shrugging off your success as a nothing really.

Choose what you want in your life.

No matter how small the first step of action is; it is the most important one you take.

Get a clear picture in your mind just what it is you want.
